I Did It!

After only two weeks of endless hours in the library and numerous games of Spider Solitaire during breaks, I finally wrote all three of my final papers. Mind you, the first one was good, the second was okay, and the third one is pretty eh, but hey--they're all done. I've emailed each of the professors to get some feedback, but basically now it's just revising and then passing them in early! That's an awesome feeling.

I should be studying tonight for my final next week, but I decided to take the night off since I got so much done earlier today. Tomorrow we go to Dublin for the weekend, so I'll bring some stuff to look at on the bus and in the hotel and then can really buckle down Sunday night.

Hmm...what else. Well, Courtney and I walked into town today so I could buy some soap for my bathroom and cheese for my supper. We went to Shop Street and saw a new statue man, who instead of being painted all grey was painted purple and white and had a hiking backpack behind him. He was...interesting. We did some window shopping too, since she wants to get some boots and I wanted to get something for Brian.

Right now I've got my heat cranked up, since it's a bit chilly in my room and 'cause I'm here alone so I can--ha. Usually Aine is like every other one of roommates so far--always warm. I don't get it. I'm making sure to pack extra sweaters for the trip tomorrow, since I'm sure we'll end up going out or something. My friends are going out tonight, even though they went out last night too. I don't get it. The past month I haven't gone at all, and it's been lovely, although I do get left out of a lot of inside jokes and stories now. But meanwhile, it's like being at URI, so nothing unusual.

I'm trying to think of anything else that happened that is worth writing about, but there's really not that much. I talked to Dad today and then came home and tried to make up a budget for the next two months, but it's hard to know how much to plan since we haven't decided where we're going in Europe yet. I don't know if I'll actually have enough money to go there now, or at least not for long, but I'm not really that sad about it. I'll be spending over three weeks in the U.K. total, so that totally makes up for it.

All righty...guess I'll go watch a movie or something. Night!
