Okay...I don't know if this is going to show up like my normal font since the program is on the fritz, but here goes.
I got up early to go to class, then since Vikings ended yesterday had an hour to kill before Irish. Since Alice officially quit that class, Courtney and I split up for a bit then did a couple of laps around campus to kill time. In Irish, we learned a bunch of funny stories from Daithi, who grew up in a large Irish family in the part of London that has the highest murder rate in all of Britain. For instance, he's got a scar on his hand from where some kid in his middle school tried to stab his face, but he threw his hand in the way. We congratulated him on simply surviving.
We left halfway through to go to an information session about exams, then I got to come back and eat the final bit of my Chinese food from Sunday. Delicious! Alice and I were going to go running, but after a couple of hours of just TV I decided to go for a walk to the bay to try to do some work on my last paper. Well, turns out my computer hates me AND it's hard to see the screen when it's sunny. Instead I sat next to this random tourist guy (from Germany, I think) and revised part of a paper while watching the swans in the bay. My plan after that was to go to a bakery and get a lovely little treat then go write in the library. One trip to the 2 euro store, some cheap candy, and a hat later, I ended up sitting in the hall. Oh well...I'll just have to get a cupcake or something the next time.
We had an API meeting tonight, where we talked about our trip to Dublin, about how fast the semester is going, and other random topics. It was nice but somewhat depressing too--it's all going so quickly. To make up for that, Miriam had us go back to her place so she could show us her new hula hoop that she bought today. She's been craving one for a couple weeks, so we tested it out. She wants to try to smuggle it into a club, but we just can't think of a way that would work.
After that I just watched TV while working on a studyguide for one of my final exams. And now it's bedtime. Good night!
