It tasted as good as it sounds. I found this easy recipe online for chicken pie, which I promised to make for today's potluck supper, so I went to Dunne's early in the afternoon and bought some chicken breasts, frozen veggies, pie crusts, and cream of chicken soup. At home I added potatoes and salt and pepper, and voila--instant deliciousness. I'm definitely saving the recipe, so maybe I'll surprise you when I get home and make some!
Anyway, we had that and some mashed potatoes, apples and cinnamon, and a delicious raspberry cake-dessert-thing. So yummy! I love Sundays, especially since I ran out of food today and only had burnt cookies to eat. I love Mondays--that's my grocery day.
Besides that, I watched some TV today, started writing an essay, read a little of an article, organized my planner, talked to people from home, and otherwise just had a leisurely Sunday. This week, although not RAG week, will still be kind of crazy because Wednesday it St. Patrick's Day--and hello, this is Ireland. There's going to be a parade in town, classes are canceled, and everyone is planning what type of alcohol will get them drunk. I'm just excited to get to experience the whole shebang. I think I'm supposed to wear orange, though, since I'm British...eh, who knows.
Anyway, not much else is new here. I have a bunch of plans for things to do and stuff to accomplish, but I'll mention them as they pan out. I'd love to start booking trips soon, though, since exam dates were posted online Friday.
