Thursday 4/29

Continuing on to day six of this epic blogging feat:

Thursday was a day off, with everyone tired from traveling and a little worn out from all the site-visiting we did while in Wales. It was really quite average. I woke up in a sweltering hot room (the sun woke me up every day, right in my face), had breakfast, puttered around the house, went to the bank and then to the grocery store called Morrison's (we only went for honey...but came out with half the store), wrote a million letters, had a casserole, wrote more letters, watched snooker on TV (Jack taught me the rules and now I'm addicted), then watched the last prime ministerial debate about the economy. See? Nothing out of the ordinary.

Although we were in England for the rest of the time, it didn't really feel that much different from being in Wales. I can't really tell the difference between their accents, so the only thing I really noticed was that signs were only in English, versus also having Welsh translations. I've gotten really used to seeing that in Ireland, where the signs are crowded with both Irish and English.

Let's keep this ball rolling on to Friday...
