I had this open all day, all set to catch up...and then decided to watch The Blind Side instead. Well, patience is a virtue, right? Hang in there--I'll make myself do it eventually.
Today was good anyway. Aine came in late last night, but is sleeping downstairs in Emer's room (who just moved out) so she can study for her finals this week. The sun woke me up at 6, but I finally got up at 8 and packed a lunch, some books, and music for a lovely day at the bay. It was a nice long walk to get there, and I found a bench just for me. I finally finished one of the books I got when I was stuck in Scotland, so now I can move onto other, hopefully more interesting ones. It was a little breezy today, but the sun made it okay.
After that, I came back and just fiddled around on the computer for a while before texting Miriam to see if anyone was around to have Sunday night supper. Since Alice, Courtney, and Jackie are still in Italy (getting back tomorrow), the two of us headed to SuperMac's (the Irish McDonald's of sorts) and then brought it back to eat on my back porch. I can now officially say I've used that picnic table. Whoopee. It was nice, though; Miriam heads home Tuesday, so it was one of the last times to hang out.
Besides that, I just finished my movie and am going to take the night off with a new book. Since things will be open tomorrow, I should get more accomplished...right?
