I finally got to go rock climbing tonight! I had my first training session today, then will have one next Thursday, and then the following week I can take the test to be certified to climb on my own whenever I want to. Alice and Barrett both got certified tonight, so that'll be nice.
The three of us plus Courtney, Miriam, and Jackie (both from API) went out to pubs tonight, as seems to be our custom on Thursday nights. We went back to the one from last week, the Hole in the Wall, and then tried out The Cellar, which had two guitarists playing requests and classic rock. I really liked that one because it had good music and very comfortable seats!
I didn't get too much done today, although I managed to spend money. Not too hard for me, really. I bought a bunch of groceries, and definitely stocked up on tomato sauce (why not?). Then Alice and I went to the city center before our 4 o'clock class and bought some souvenirs and a jacket for her. I was going to wait until the end to buy all of my souvenirs, especially gifts, but recently I realized that it would make more sense if I paid for them out of my budget little by little. So really, I get to have more fun throughout the semester!
My roommate is sleeping, so I'd better stop typing so loudly! Good night for now.
