Ah, the first day of freedom. Well, from classes at least. I got to wake up late and eat breakfast in my pajamas while watching trashy TV. How lovely.
What else? I went for a nice long walk around campus, past the canal, around the bay, and back through town. Everyone was out shopping today since most stores will be closed for the next four days. It was quite hectic.
I spent a couple hours planning trips, then had an interview for an internship on the phone. The woman I talked to was pretty cool--she plays trombone and studied in England when she was in college. We'll see if I get the position!
Afterward, I talked to people on webcam, watched the third Indiana Jones, made chocolate chip cookies (had to get eggs from another person's apartment, so I delivered some fresh ones to them as thank yous), and now am finishing watching the first Mummy movie. What a lazy, lovely day. Seems like tomorrow will be something like that too.
