I love having Fridays off. Just saying. It feels like Saturday, but I'm really okay with that. I can go to the library when I want to, buy some groceries at random times of the day if I'm out, watch movies with the sound blasting...Yeah, I like free Fridays.
Anyway...I'm keeping it brief tonight because (and cross your fingers my camera works) I'll have lots of photos and stories tomorrow and Sunday night. Tomorrow is the API excursion to East Co. Clare, and Sunday Alice, Courtney, and I are going to take a tour of Connemara. We got the tickets half price (all right!) and asked if the same tour guide, PJ, was going to drive this tour too. The ticket lady laughed but sadly said no.
More on that tomorrow. So here's the itinerary for tomorrow, from a sheet that API gave us:
"Today we will visit some of Co. Clare's best attractions--Bunratty castle (with its farm and village), the beautiful quaint village of Cong, and Ballintober Abbey." We're also stopping to eat lunch in "The Creamery." Other places that are on the sheet that we may stop at include Coole Park and the round tower of Kilmacduagh.
Our guide is Finn, the API director in Galway, and apparently she is known for "walking the pants" off of people. I'm definitely wearing my running shoes, then, good weather or not.
Nothing else really happened today, so I'm saying good night for now. I'll write more this weekend!
